FAQs
❓ What kind of clinic is this?
We’re a nonprofit weekend clinic providing basic medical care to uninsured and underinsured individuals. We focus on non-emergency health issues and do not require insurance, payment, or proof of income for in-person visits.
❓ Is the clinic really free?
Yes! All in-person weekend visits are 100% free. No copays, no insurance cards, and no bills. Care is funded through grants and donations (telehealth donations).
❓ Why is a $50 donation required for telehealth?
Because telehealth involves scheduling, provider time, and follow-up, we require a minimum $50 donation to cover those costs. These funds directly support our mission and allow us to keep in-person visits completely free for others in need.
❓ Do you accept insurance?
No. We don’t bill insurance or require it. This helps us simplify care and serve patients who are typically left out of the healthcare system.
❓ Can I bring my child or teen?
Yes! We see patients of all ages, including children and teens, for minor concerns. A parent or legal guardian must accompany patients under 18.
❓ Do I need to bring anything?
If you have a list of medications, recent health records, or discharge papers, bring them with you—but they are not required. A photo ID is helpful but not mandatory.
❓ What if I don’t speak English?
We’ll do our best to assist. We may use a phone interpreter or translation tools. If you can, bring someone who can help interpret.
❓ Do you offer vaccinations or lab work?
At this time, we do not provide vaccines or routine lab work. We can refer you to local resources for those services if needed.
❓ How often can I come?
There’s no strict limit. We ask that patients use the clinic responsibly, and we’ll always do our best to accommodate your needs.
❓ Can I volunteer or donate?
Absolutely! We welcome medical professionals, students, and community volunteers. Donations are always appreciated and help keep care free. Send us a message here or on our socials for more info.
